Golf-tastic Father's Day

If your dad loves to golf, plan a Father's Day golf day as a way to celebrate! A golf Father's Day can incorporate everything from the day's activities to the all-important Father's Day gift and everything in between. Check out the following ideas for how to give your dad the gift of a golf themed Father's Day!

  • Invite him to play. Send Dad and a few of his buddies or family members an online Father's Day golf invitation to a tee time at his favorite golf course (all expenses paid, of course). Customize your favorite invitation with important event details, send via text or email, and gather RSVPs in minutes.

  • Prepare a golf gift. Before he heads out for his golf day, present him with the ultimate Father's Day golf gift. Prepare a special Father's Day golf gift basket! In a large basket put two packages of golf balls, a box of tees, a new golf glove, a hat, a micro-fiber golf cloth, and a new water bottle. If a new golf bag is what he really needs, why not use a new bag in place of the basket? It will be a big hit with Dad, and it won’t be just another tie hanging in his closet.

  • Send golf Father's Day cards. Personalize your favorite digital Father's Day golf card with a heartfelt written message, include a short video with well wishes, and add a gift card to really make Dad smile.

  • Plan a post-golf celebration. After a relaxing day of golf, treat Dad to his favorite meal. If he has an early tee time, you can plan on having lunch ready when he gets home. If the tee time is later, plan for dinner. If the weather is nice, you can always grill. Keep in mind what you think he will really enjoy, especially after several hours of walking around on the course.

If you have younger kids and want an activity to do with Dad on Father's Day, consider a day of miniature golf for the whole family! You can still use these Father's Day golf ideas, just replace the tee time on his favorite course with a tee time at your local miniature golf course with the family!
