Halloween Recipe for Vampire Martini

It’s Halloween, which means everyone will be looking to indulge in some Halloween-inspired treats. This year, why not try some Halloween martini recipes for twists on classic favorites? You can make any martini a Halloween martini by dyeing it a chilling color, like blood red or slimy green. As the drink is naturally clear, the color will look fabulous!

If you seek to serve a unique Halloween cocktail, try a Vampire Kiss Martini. These Halloween martinis, which have an added treat of champagne, are sure to please 1, 2 or even a whole room full of guests. Not to mention, they’re spooky!

Everyone loves a great martini and vampires are one of the most famed Halloween characters. This drink mixes the two into one ghoulish vampire martini that’s perfect for Halloween. Here’s what you'll need for the Vampire Kiss Martini:

  • 1 part vodka, chilled
  • 1 part Champagne
  • 1 part Chambord
  • 1 set of wax teeth
To make this vampire martini recipe, first put wax teeth in the martini glass. Pour in the vodka and top it with champagne. Next, take a spoon and pour a little of the Chambord over the back of it to make the dark liquid float at the top of the drink. Finally, garnish the rim (or the drink itself) with candy corn or blood orange slices for a creepy Halloween effect.

To complete this vampire cocktail, add the extra-spooky effect of “blood” that drips down the side of the martini glass. To create this effect, simply mix honey or light corn syrup (about a quarter cup) with red food coloring. Be careful when adding the food coloring: only squeeze one or two drops in at a time and be mindful that different types of food coloring will have varying levels of intensity (for example, only a small amount of gel food coloring is required to create the same effect that a liquid dye would need). Mix these ingredients together so that the honey or corn syrup looks blood red. Now you are ready to adorn your glass. Here, there are two options: place the liquid on a plate and dip the rim into it, allowing some drops to dribble down the side. Alternatively, use the end of a spoon or toothpick to create the drips manually.

Finally, if you're hosting a Halloween party this year, be sure to send Halloween invitations online to create a fun and spooky vibe for your event and share important info with guests. Customize your favorite invitation, send by email or text, and easily gather RSVPs in minutes.
