Here are a few alcoholic and non-alcoholic New Year’s drink recipes that are simple to put together and will delight all of your guests.
Mix up one of this delicious beverages for New Year’s:
  • Berry Little Cocktail: This New Year’s cocktail combines fruity flavors for a refreshing beverage. To make, mix together 1 ounce chilled ruby red grapefruit vodka, 2 ounces chilled champagne, 1 ounce chilled cranberry juice, and 1 ounce chilled black currant juice or blackberry puree in a glass. Garnish with a skewer of garnished cranberries.
  • Cognac Sparklers: These sophisticated New Year’s Eve cocktails find the perfect flavor balance between the sweet apple cider and the strong Cognac. To make two drinks, pour 1 tablespoon Cognac into each of two champagne flutes. Top each with ½ cup chilled sparkling apple cider (hard or soft) and finish off with a few dashes of bitters.
  • Lemon Drop Champagne Punch: Whip up some celebratory punch with this fun recipe. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the zest from 3 lemons in a long, continuous spiral. Juice your lemons, strain the pulp, and set aside. You should have around  ¾ cup of juice. A helpful cook’s tip: lemons are easier to peel and juice when they are at room temperature rather than chilled. Next, heat ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar has all dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the zest. Your syrup will now need to cool completely, which will take approximately 2 hours. Finally, in your favorite punch bowl pour 1 bottle of chilled champagne, ¾ cup chilled vodka, your lemon juice, and syrup, and stir to combine. Serves 6-8.
  • Cranberry Sparkler: For all of your designated drivers or younger guests, this New Year’s Eve cocktail is non-alcoholic, but still festive. In a champagne flute, pour 1 ½ ounces blackberry puree and 2 ounces white cranberry juice. Fill to top with sparkling water and garnish with a mint leaf.
Open up the bar and make it a night to remember with your New Year cocktails. These tasty beverages will be the perfect complement to the celebration and good company shared that night.
