Delicious Dirt Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 (8) ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 (1/2 cups) milk
- 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 32 ounces chocolate sandwich cookies with cream filling (such as Oreos)
- 1 bag gummy worms
- Serving dish – this can be a normal cake pan, a flower pot or even a small, plastic wheelbarrow.
Directions:
To make this recipe for dirt cake, first chop the cookies in a food processor until they are very fine. Then, mix the butter, cream cheese and sugar in a bowl. In another, large bowl, mix together the milk, pudding and whipped topping. Next, combine the pudding mixture and the cream mixture and mix in the gummy worms. Then, layer the chopped cookies and the creamy mixture into your serving dish. Be sure to start and end with the cookies! This will give your cake a “dirt-like” appearance. Feel free to create as many layers as your dish will accommodate.
