Then the big reveal! The most common reaction is — "Wow!" or "I love it" and of course audience laughter and big grins. Traditional caricature is always a hit. Digital caricature is quickly growing in popularity and is a great form of entertainment. Folks are absolutely fascinated!
LIVE DIGITAL CARICATURES
I draw about 10 faces per hour. Drawings are done on an iPad or other touchscreen device. A flat screen monitor allows the crowd to watch as drawings unfold. Drawings are printed on the spot on 4" x 6" photo paper or larger if requested. Digital files are provided for download. A logo, message and art can be added to each print.
LIVE TRADITIONAL CARICATURES
I draw about 15-20 faces per hour. My black and white drawings are done on 11x14 paper. It's the perfect size for framing and larger than the 8 1/2 x 11 paper most artists use. I provide plastic bags to protect drawings. A logo and message can be preprinted on your paper.
I've performed my caricature art services at the Monterey Jazz Festival; Monterey's Cannery Row; Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco; Great America Amusement Park in San Jose, CA; Academy of Sciences in San Francisco; Paramount Studios in Hollywood and lots of other fun and classy venues. Ethel currently sits on the California State Board of Trustee for the California Cosmetology Association (CCA). Ethel works full time at Bank of America holding the title of Vice-President and has also been with Bank of America for the past 27 years.
Ethel found the passion for the Beauty Industry by starting off as a commercial print model since she was 15 years old and that experience left her wanting more. Ethel took upon this passion and love for ‘Anything Related to Beauty’ and put herself through education and established herself to serve the community.
Ethel’s most recent project was as the Director of Make-up and Hair for an independent movie “Sedona’s Rule†filmed in the Bay Area. Ethel rigorously is involved as lead Hair & Make-up artist for the IPAC (International Performing Arts Conference), fashion/hair shows and modeling/acting assignments. Ethel’s work to this end is a testament of her artistic creativity being showcased on the cover of Model’s Unlimited (April 2008 issue). Ethel is also a platform artist educator and an emcee for various local Bay Area events. Ethel is as well, a modeling and acting coach, dedicated in developing young professionals in achieving their dreams.
Ethel runs her own company, E The Look, which she has dedicated in bringing new and innovative makeup products to her clients. She has recently taken up creating her own unique designs by channeling her ideas in making Fashion Hair and Jewelry pieces. Her business motto is

Our salon has tanned tens of thousands of clients, both men and women, who want a natural color that no one will know they have been sprayed. Natural Bronzing can also go darker too for those who want to intensify their color at anytime.
The active ingredient in our product is dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which has been shown to be safe by the Food and Drug Administration. These products were first discovered in the late 1920's when DHA was spilled on the skin and a brown color appeared. DHA gives color to the skin through a "browning reaction." When applied to the skin DHA changes into a sugar which combines with amino acids in the skin to form chemical compounds known as melaninoids which are brown in color.
