Whoever you choose to be your representative or spokesperson, should take the time to learn what is important to you and delivery what is promised. You will only achieve that by taking the time to personally interview your prospective DJ.
  
  Finally, check their references and ask other professionals in the wedding industry if they know your prospective DJ. If they don't, how come? Other professionals should know your DJ, and if not, keep looking.
