Greg has always had a love for music. Playing a musical instrument since he was eight years old, Greg picked up his first guitar in high school, soon teaching himself how to play. Once he learned he also started writing his own music and formed a band performing live shows throughout Southern Indiana and Kentucky.
Even as a young child, Greg had a profound love for the music of Elvis Presley. Like he always says, “I don’t remember ever starting to like Elvis, he’s just always been thereâ€. In late 2003 Greg came home from work and told his wife, Lauren, that he wanted to be an Elvis Entertainer and from there the transformation began. Greg practiced in the spare bedroom of his apartment in Louisville, Kentucky until he landed his first gig performing at the St. Jude Children’s Research Christmas party. That show took place in December of 2004.
In spring of 2005, Greg had the opportunity to move to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and things took off from there. In January of 2006, Greg took the biggest step to helping his career by entering the “King of the Smokies Elvis Contest†and took first place. Greg has started a career as an Elvis Presley Entertainer. Performing at such places and events as: The Golden Years of Vegas show at the Patty Wazak Theater in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, opening for West Productions play of Graceland, Relay for Life and Humane Society fundraisers, many private parties and events and even on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. Greg performed for 5 years at a well known resort in Sevierville, Tennessee, just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Now 34 years of age and more than 250 shows later, he is back to his hometown in Southern Indiana. Greg is available for fundraisers, parties of all occasions, and even singing telegrams.
