Raise your Spirits, independently-owned and operated by Michael Nagy, an experienced and professional mixologist, experienced local bar consultant and cocktail party/event planner, offers contemporary cocktail party planning, Happy Hour planning, event planning, and elite bartending services in your home, in the community, or place of business. What separates Raise your Spirits from big catering companies, bar consultation firms, and other bartending services is the hands-on personable approach given to your specific type of event or party with a full bar (you choose what alcohol to have on hand), no different package level costs or additional fees, such as standard bartender fees, setup/breakdown costs, costs per person, and no maximum time frames. At Raise your Spirits, you will be charged either a rate per hour or flat rate per event depending on the event. You will also have a cocktail menu designed for you to match your specific event, which will include the trendiest, coolest cocktails of the season and the best brands to use in those cocktails. Because the client provides all beverages, there are no corkage fees. You select and purchase the beverages you want served or leave it up to us to make recommendations. We can also purchase the alcohol for you with reimbursement and a 10% convenience/travel fee that will save you time and take the worry out of what to buy. Just tell us your alcohol budget and we will stay under it. The 10% charge also includes the prep time for infusions, sangrias, batched cocktails, etc... if you choose that option. We arrive one hour prior to the event to set up the bar, cut garnishes, and ice down the beverages so that everything is ready for your guests as they arrive.
We are happy to consult with you on beverage quantities, varieties, glassware, and other items as well as make Sangrias, Infused Liquors, and batched cocktails for your event.
Your bar is customized to fit your and your guests’ taste profiles.
When you purchase the beverages yourself, you can save money by taking advantage of case discounts.
And towards the end of the event, we don't open a lot of extra bottles, so that in many instances, you can return unopened bottles or cases.
