The Big Three Trio plays straight-ahead swinging jazz with some New Orleans Blues. Their music sets are comprised of both originals and standards and are grounded in tradition.
Big Joe fronts the Trio from behind the drums with his deep and reverent vocals; John Previti on stand-up bass with his highly original style; and premier piano player Robert Redd rounds out the group.
When there is a need by a venue or an event to add another piece to the group, they become the Big Four Combo with the addition of either saxophone or guitar.
